During our excursion on September 29, you have the unique opportunity to get to know some of the most interesting and innovative destinations in the Stuttgart region.

f-cell excursion 2009 in retrospect

Air show organized by the German Aerospyce Center at the Stuttgart airport

The participants of this year’s f-cell excursion had the unique opportunity to witness the attitude flight attempt of the Antares DLR-H2.

Antares DLR_H2 is the first pilot-controlled fuel cell airplane of the German Aerospace Center. Its engine was developed within the Institute for Technical Thermodynamic in cooperation with Lange Aviation, BASF Fuel Cells and Serenergy (Denmark). The power glider demonstrates a new quality in teh field of highly efficient, emission free energy conversion and shows off the advances in fuel cell technology.

Visit of the hydrogen fueling station at the Stuttgart airport

The first hydrogen fueling station of Baden-Wuerttemberg , provided with the 700-bar technology, opened on june 17, 2009 at Stuttgart airport. As the world’s greatest producer of hydrogen facilities, the Linde Group is also part of the project.

The funcionality of the OMV fueling station has been demonstrated to the participants of the f-cell excursion using the newest fuel cell vehicle of Daimler, the B-Klasse F-Cell.
